Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Wireless Device Financing Program Manager will support the Wireless Device Financing team within Billing and Credit for all Device Financing projects, initiatives, and escalations related to DISH Wireless Device Financing operations as we undergo a period of rapid build-out, growth, and expansion. A successful candidate will have a strong focus on team and employee development and the ability to manage multiple processes/workstreams. Also, this candidate will work on various project management functions, data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and is willing to roll up their sleeves and get into the trenches when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Wireless Device Financing team’s daily operations including performing project intake, creating features and acceptance criteria, providing constructive feedback, building workflows, and engaging relevant SMEs as needed

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, fully understanding all processes and their impacts on the DISH Business; analyze, identify, and implement enhancements to improve efficiency & effectiveness of routine tasks and procedures

  • Create/lead the project roadmap for Device Financing projects and using discretion to determine the methods to meet established goals

  • Support the deployment and execution of all DISH Wireless Device Finance operations linked to payments, capitalization, contracts, payoffs, and fraud - especially as it relates to the bad debt portion of the loan portfolio

  • Evaluate business needs and develop/required processes and handoffs

  • Develop reporting, plans to achieve significant milestones, and deliver results for established OKRs

  • Identify potential opportunities for process improvement and report automation using various methods, i.e. databases, spreadsheets, external data sources, IT development

  • Coordinate with a diverse set of teams to ensure project implementation receives stakeholder buy-in

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics, and/or at least two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Loan Underwriting, Loan Capitalization, Project Management, and/or Payment Operations preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and work with Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP functions, and exposure to Macros

  • Experience with SQL

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common metrics used to measure and monitor operational performance, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide clear and concise communication with a wide audience of internal departments

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
