Bee Sweet Citrus Information Technology Manager in Fowler, California

Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Information Technology professional to aid the Director of IT in all hardware and software aspects of the company’s information technology systems.  The position will serve as the primary software and hardware IT Manager when the Director of IT is not present.  

The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate with all employees, including management.  Furthermore, it cannot be stressed enough that this is a “hands on” position that will require the successful candidate to enter the facility and work with hardware—not just software from your desk. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with LAN/WAN issues, add or delete user accounts, set up and maintain email accounts.

  • Manage companywide VoIP telephone systems.

  • Repair or replace damaged hardware throughout several locations.

  • Upgrade entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.

  • Provide support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting; maintains on-line or manual trouble logs.

  • Perform network infrastructure and maintenance tasks and may perform LAN administration and maintenance tasks.

  • Test and install specific client applications and/or reports using available software packages and programming languages; installs, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains hardware and software products.

  • Assist in the installation of network infrastructure equipment as well as implementing backup and recovery procedures.

  • Provide training to end users on hardware and software applications.

  • Aid in planning, design, building, and deploying new systems and equipment.

  • Carry out precautionary maintenance for all computer systems and examine existing systems to determine solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.

  • Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.

  • Conducting daily backup operations.

    Knowledge & Skill

  • Understanding of local-and wide-area networks and assist staff in the identification and resolution of network operating problems.

  • Understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, devices, and software applications to install, configure and support laptops, PCs, tablet, and mobile phones, installing, configuring and supporting network printers, surveillance systems. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to troubleshooting systems

     

    Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance, or bachelor’s or associate degree in computer science or related field.

  • CompTIA certifications in Linux+, A+, CCNA (https://www.fieldengineer.com/skills/cisco-certified-network-associate/) or MCP advantageous but are not required.

  • Knowledge of SQL, MAC, and Windows OS is essential.

  • Certified Network Associate accreditation advantageous but not required.

  • Proficient in surveillance, networking, database programming, and software installation.

  • Veeam, Exchange Email systems, VMWare, Cloud integration, VoIP

    Pay Offered/Benefits
