In this role you will be responsible for both new and rebuilt assemblies. What\'s in the job: Perform diversified assembly and erection operations to assemble intricate or large and expensive apparatus, machines or equipment to close tolerances and strict inspection requirements. Assembly procedures usually prescribed and operations are recognized as standard practices. Perform skilled fitting of parts, sub-assemblies and related units. Complete aligning, adjusting and required secondary machining. What does it take: HSD/GED; 2+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with overhead bridge cranes and rigging of large parts is required. Must be familiar with assembling techniques, plus experience and knowledge of design and basic mechanical principles. General knowledge of manual machine operation is required. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications and routings. Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Must regularly lift or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
