Corteva Agriscience North America Commercial Systems Leader - Crop Protection in Indianapolis, Indiana

The North America Commercial Solutions Leader - Crop Protection will be accountable for strategy, user experience, business process execution, and overall cohesiveness for our commercial systems serving Corteva's crop protection and retail/dealer seed businesses. This leader is expected to collaborate within commercial and cross-functionally with IT and/or outside vendors to ensure the commercial strategy can be executed with the systems and capabilities available. This role will lead a team of product owners for the key systems for these businesses and be a liaison to the enterprise commercial solutions team. This role will be based at our global headquarters in Indianapolis, IN.

What You'll Do:

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Drive the cadence of meetings and messaging to NA stakeholders around portfolio strategy, development strategy & execution, value realization, and ad hoc business needs.

  • Portfolio Management: Direct the indirect route-to-market systems product family and ensure individual product management aligns with a comprehensive user experience across transactional and agronomy tools. Collaborate with IT and outside vendors to ensure priority demands are delivered.

  • NA Regional Business Liaison: Represent NA strategy and prioritized demands for all enterprise systems for all enterprise commercial solutions within their business scope.

  • Transformational Projects: Accountable for transformational projects within product family.

  • Budget Management: Efficiently invest the annual budget for enterprise systems to meet commercial expectations as well as managing technical debt and long term cost of ownership.

  • People Management: Lead the team members through annual performance management cycles.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing program management, data integration, and analytics, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing initiatives

Qualifications

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture Business, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in business system architecture/common platforms (Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager, Seedware, Marketing Automation/Content Management tools, etc.)

  • Experienced people leader with demonstrated capability to manage up to various types of leaders, within a team of leaders, and directly leading technical experts of different technical systems and processes.

  • Experience working within the distribution/retail crop protection and seed business, data types and data collection processes, and ability to leverage insights to support marketing program leaders.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

  • Proven project-management skills and collaborative problem-solving

  • Comfortable with context switching throughout the day and keeping many priorities on track.
