Our fast-growing creative and technical team is looking for a Post Media Manager with a strong technical background to support the creation of Apple Immersive Videos for the Vision Pro. This role would be responsible for hands-on work across every phase of our content creation process. They will be expected to integrate into existing workflows but with the opportunity to help shape new ways to work as projects develop. We are seeking someone who is looking to take what they know and apply it in new and interesting ways. Description

The Post Media Manager will join an in-house technical team and support a wide variety of projects, ranging from technical tests and tool development to complex projects of all sizes. The ideal candidate would be comfortable balancing deadline-based creative deliverables and supporting ongoing development efforts. They will work closely with editorial, VFX, audio, finishing and production teams to help deliver projects from start to finish. They will assist in the development of an evolving A/V pipeline. Their work will vary significantly from project to project and provide many opportunities for learning and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Post

• Deep expertise supporting audio-visual content creation in a highly complex technical environment

• Comfortable on a fast-paced, deadline-oriented technical team and can multitask on multiple projects simultaneously

• Practical and technical knowledge of handling HDR and SDR delivery workflows from ACES pipelines (HLG, DolbyVision, etc.)

• Detail-oriented mindset for maintaining consistent project organization, executing complex video processes and supporting documentation of evolving workflows

• Strong communication skills to aid collaboration across a variety of technical and creative teams

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience

BA/BS or equivalent experience.

Additional Requirements

• • Practical and technical understanding of complex, high-end video pipelines, from ingest to QC of final export
• • Strong capacity for technical troubleshooting, working with operations and engineering staff to solve problems and optimize workflows
• • Experience with best practices for footage processing and backups for incoming media, including SAN organization and project archiving
• • Experience mixing multiple video formats, resolutions and framerates in a single project and managing the workflow to maintain the highest quality export at project completion
• • Passion for working with a team on the cutting edge of technology to drive the best possible creative experience
• • Experience with technical network deliverables a plus

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,800 and $229,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
