Always Best Care Senior Services CNA / Caregiver in Lihue, Hawaii

Job Summary Always Best Care Senior Services is currently seeking a part-time CNA/Caregiver to join our team in the Lihue area in either the in home care of facility setting.  This is an hourly healthcare/medical job in the franchise industry and is an individual contributor role. The successful candidate must be passionate about providing excellent customer service and have a strong desire to care for seniors, and those in need. Compensation & Benefits This is an hourly role with an hourly rate of $16-$20, depending on experience. We offer weekly pay and paid time off. Responsibilities • Assist elderly clients with day-to-day activities such as dressing, hygiene, and mobility. • Manage medication and schedule medical appointments. • Provide companionship and help create a safe and comfortable environment. • Groom and/or bathe clients, if needed. • Organize and transport clients to appointments, errands, and recreational activities. • Assist in the development of care plans with clients and families. • Educate family members on home health care procedures. Requirements • Must have a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/ Caregiver Certification. • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in caregiving. • Must be compassionate and patient, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Must be physically able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. • Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English. • Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check.
