BETTER TOGETHER The IT Project Manager is responsible for the management of projects including: working with project sponsors to create Project Charters, Project Management Plans, Project Communication Plans, Work Breakdown Structures, and other standard project management work products. The IT Project Manager will also help develop new project management templates as necessary. The IT Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle including facilitation and execution of the project plan as well as execution of the solution development lifecycle (SDLC). Additionally, the incumbent leads and directs cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget and scope. The IT Project Manager must demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to appropriately apply a methodology to projects that have reasonably well-defined project requirements and deliverables. The incumbent will make presentations to management as required and work closely with management on any special projects deemed critical for the success of Group Health Cooperative of South-Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW). The IT Project Manager serves under the direction, guidance and supervision of the IT Manager.
