GRAEF Civil Engineer Co-op (T1) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

GRAEF has offices in Milwaukee, Green Bay, and Madison, Wisconsin, 2 offices in Chicago, Illinois, Minneapolis, MN; as well as Orlando, Miami and Sarasota Florida. The firm supplies these major markets: structural, public works, industrial/architectural, planning, landscape architecture, environmental, transportation, construction, mechanical, plumbing and electrical services. We have an exciting opportunity available for students who are interested in joining our team of professionals through a Co-op experience. We have an opportunity to place 2 co-op students in our Milwaukee Headquarters office beginning in the summer of 2024. Successful students will spend 2 semesters in our Infrastructure Group learning civil engineering duties related to sewer, water, environmental, site development and municipal engineering, and 2 semesters in our Transportation group participating in surveying, construction inspection and a variety of street, highway, traffic and bridge design projects.

We are considering students who meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Current sophomore standing while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Construction or Environmental Engineering.

  • If you have taken a Surveying course, that would be considered a plus.

  • Prior internship experience is a plus.

  • Ability to grasp new concepts and eager to learn new things.

  • Enjoy a balance of independent tasks and working with a project team.
