CNAs play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to our patients while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.Responsibilities:1. Patient Care and Support: a) Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and feeding. b)Helping patients with mobility and positioning, ensuring their comfort and safety.Providing emotional support and companionship to patients. c) Vital Sign Monitoring:Monitoring and recording patient vital signs, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider. d) Observing and reporting patient conditions and responses to treatments.2. Assistance in Procedures: a) Assisting nurses or healthcare professionals in various medical procedures and treatments. b) Handling and maintaining medical equipment as required.3. Safety and Compliance: a) Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and sanitized environment. b) Following established care plans and protocols in providing patient care.Requirements:1. Possession of a New Jersey Certification as Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is mandatory.2. Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations including those set by the New Jersey Department of Health, Office of Inspector General, Medicaid/Medicare, Corporate Compliance, PEOSHA, and Priority Group Services Policies and Procedures.3. Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care.4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.6.
