This is a combined posting for an Associate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 1), and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 2). The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 1) provides non-professional direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 2) assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.

Associate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 1):

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of certification course for Nursing Assistants.

  • Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year' Experience in nursing home or hospital experience.

Associate Certified Nursing Assistant, Salary Range:

Oregon (Portland, OR)

Min: $17.22, Max: $26.82

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 2):

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course or equivalent education/experience.

  • CNA 2 coursework: Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.

  • Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience as a CNA 2.

Certified Nursing Assistant, Salary Range:

Oregon (Portland, OR)

Min: $17.91, Max: $27.90
