Cyber & Technology Claims Technician

Are you looking to launch an exciting career in the cyber insurance field?

Sedgwick is seeking a motivated Claims Technician to join our Cyber and Technology team. In this key support role, you will assist our Senior Cyber Incident Managers in triaging, handling, and resolving cyber-related incidents.

Through a dedicated training program, you will develop the knowledge and skills to progress into becoming a cyber adjuster with your own caseload. From instruction to conclusion, you will support incident managers on cases, with responsibilities including:

  • Triaging new cyber/technology claims and updating systems

  • Sending acknowledgments to parties involved

  • Setting up digital forensics claims and conference calls

  • Invoicing, fee tracking, and reporting

  • Maintaining aged claims and work-in-progress comments

  • Formatting/peer reviewing reports

  • Managing team communications and diaries

  • Processing payments according to procedures

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational abilities, prioritisation skills, and the flexibility to work additional hours as needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

To qualify, you must demonstrate:

  • Capability to work well under pressure

  • Effective time management

  • Team player mindset

Prior knowledge of insurance procedures, claims handling, cyber/technology, and report writing are advantageous but not required. We will provide comprehensive training in these areas.
