Robert Half Systems Analyst in Valparaiso, Indiana

Description We are in search of a Systems Analyst to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Valparaiso, Indiana. As a Systems Analyst, you will be tasked with diagnosing network issues, providing technical support, assisting in user account assignments, and maintaining a centralized inventory database. This role will also involve training staff on new processes and procedures, as well as troubleshooting network connectivity issues.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve issues with network servers, switches, and network software

• Provide technical support through remote, phone, and desk level assistance

• Assist in assigning user accounts across various systems

• Repair and maintain hardware and peripherals as necessary

• Train staff on new processes, procedures, and hardware/software operations

• Perform regular maintenance tasks on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis

• Gather and report information on current parts/supply needs

• Document all technical support issues and solutions in a service request tracking system

• Maintain and assist in the upkeep of a centralized inventory database

• Generate and maintain systems documentation/diagrams

• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues

• Communicate with vendors and partners as needed

• Assist in developing and implementing a disaster recovery strategy

• Work hours outside regular office hours when necessary. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Systems Analyst within the Non-Profit industry

• Proficiency in Database and Configuration Management

• Familiarity with Microsoft products including Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Windows Server

• Experience in creating Business Requirement Documents

• Knowledge of Computer Hardware and Cisco Access Points

• Demonstrated ability to manage software and hardware deployments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven experience in project management

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
