JOB REQUIREMENTS: Location: Central Position: Controller Reports To: CFO Date: January 9,2024 JOB SUMMARY The Controller is responsible for working closely with Wis-Pak\'s management team, Operations, Supply Chain, and the accounting and administrative support staff to develop and improve reporting systems, analytics, policies, and procedures which meet the needs of both internal and external customers. Directs the financial affairs of the organization and prepares financial analyses of operations. Responsible for the company\'s financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, the maintenance of internal controls to ensure compliance, and the preparation of financial reports. The position involves supervision over general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, and cost accounting. JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Note: The job functions relate to the job, not the individual) * Direct month-end and year-end close process. * Manage the preparation of periodic financial statements, financial forecasts, and annual budgets. * Analyze financial results to identify opportunities and improvements that can be made. * Manage A/R, A/P, Fixed Asset Records, Costing, and Inventory accounting operations. * Coordinate the preparation and execution of the annual audit. * Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and provide advice on the financial implications of business activities. Ensures internal controls are in place and being followed for proper accounting and safeguarding of the company\'s assets. * Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or business administration with a minor in Accounting; MBA desired but not mandatory. * CPA License. * At least five years of manufacturing experience in either a private or public accounting. * ERP experience, JDEdwards a plus. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office. * Leadership, mentoring, and team building skills. * Proven problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent oral, written, and communication skills. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.
