ITW Shakeproof Industrial Products (SIP), serves major OEMs, mid and large distributors in the North American industrial market. As a leader in the design and manufacture of value-added threaded screws, fasteners, and lock washers, ITW Shakeproof Industrial focuses on customer's needs, supplying solutions to the unique (or common) challenges our customer's face. The result is better, faster, and easier solutions for our industry.

• Maintaining advanced engineering and manufacturing facilities in North America.

• Exchanging product, process, and benchmarking information with sister units worldwide.

• Continually improving processes, materials, and designs to ensure every product exceeds customer specifications while providing unparalleled value.

Position Summary:

Prepare shipments, load / unload trucks, and check in product. Support parts washing area as needed. Assist team and work to resolve trucking schedules/deliveries. Meet on-time delivery, productivity, safety, quality, and housekeeping metrics. Support Quality Assurance with quality inspections as needed.

Essential Functions:

1. Operate parts washer, solvent washer, and tumblers.

2. Prepare outgoing shipments.

3. Load and unload trucks.

4. Receive incoming shipments.

5. Participate as a Trainer when necessary.

6. Prioritize and oversee expedited shipments

7. Support the quality department

8. To work in any other area of the plant by the request of your supervisor.

Required Skill, Education and Experience

• Basic reading/writing/math skills

• Ability to focus and prioritize task and objectives

• Good communication skills

• Ability to learn to drive a fork truck, as well as get on and off a fork truck multiple times per day

• Computer knowledge (data entry)

• Previous shipping experience preferred
